FAQ

Questions about websites

How long does a website take?

Most small business websites take 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the number of pages and how quickly content is ready. You get a timeline in the quote.

Do I need to write all the text myself?

No. You tell me about your business, your services and your customers, and I structure and write the pages with you. You approve everything before it goes live.

Can you redesign my current site and keep my domain?

Yes. Your domain, email and existing Google presence stay as they are. I make sure old page addresses redirect properly so you don't lose search traffic.

Will my website show up on Google?

Every site is built with the search basics done properly: page titles, descriptions, speed, mobile layout and a sitemap. Rankings take time and nobody can honestly guarantee a position, but a well-built site gives you the best starting point.

What will it cost to run each month?

Often very little. Many small business sites can be hosted for free or a few pounds a month, plus around £10 a year for the domain. I'll explain the options before you decide.

Have a process that eats up your week?

Tell me about it. I reply within one working day, and the first call is free.
