Who I am

This website belongs to Dilip Kashyap, a software developer based in India. For any privacy question, email dilipkashyap.sd@gmail.com.

What this website collects

This website has no contact form, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Contact happens by email, so nothing you type here is sent anywhere. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and the host processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

When you email me

If you email me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. I use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to deliver the project. Emails are stored in Gmail (Google).

If I emailed you first

I sometimes contact businesses whose email address is published on their own website, when I think I can help with something specific. I keep the business name, website, published email address and my notes about the conversation. If you reply "no" or ask me to stop, I add your address to a do-not-contact list and won't email you again.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Project records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and support, and no longer than 6 years.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing dilipkashyap.sd@gmail.com. If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Sharing

I don't sell or share your information. It is only processed by the services needed to run this website and my email (GitHub and Google).
